Beverly "Bev" L. Titorenko, 84, of Claremont, NH, died August 26, 2012, at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH, following a brief illness. She was born in Quechee, VT, on February 26, 1928, the daughter of Harry L. and Rose L. (Legacy) Roberts, and had been a longtime area resident. 

 

Beverly had been employed as a Heel Inspector by Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Windsor, VT, for 34 years until her retirement in 1983. 

 

On February 12, 1983, she married Alexander Titorenko and had a beautiful wedding service at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Claremont, NH. He predeceased her on April 24, 2007. 

 

Together with her husband, she was an active church member. She also held membership in Claremont Senior Center, American Legion Post #29 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Goodyear Retirees Club. 

 

Beverly enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, eating out, yard sales, and bingo. 

 

Beverly was survived by a son, David B. Eastman and his wife, Sharon, Claremont, NH; 3 daughters, Donna Rondeau, Silver Springs, FL; Judy Sargent and her husband, Leonard, Weathersfield, VT; Diane Smith and her husband, Buddy, Corinth, VT; two stepsons, Richard Titorenko, Bath, NH; Walter Young, Jr., Williamstown, VT; a stepdaughter, Joanne Merrow and her husband, Donald, Danby, VT; 31 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a sister, Carolyn Beaulieu and her husband, Kenneth, Ascutney, VT.

 

She was predeceased by a sister, Ramona Ladd, and a brother, Harry W. Roberts. 

Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery. 

 

 

Alexander “Alek” Titorenko, 86, passed away on April 24, 2007, in Claremont, NH, where he was born on May 20, 1920, the son of Jona and Pasha (Smolnik) Titorenko.

 

He was a veteran, wounded in battle while serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

 

He married Beverly L. (Roberts) Eastman on February 12, 1983. Alex was a faithful member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Claremont. Together with his wife, daughter, and her family, he participated in all church events, enjoying its services and good company. 

 

He was survived by his wife, a stepson, David B. Eastman and his wife, Sharon, Claremont, NH; 3 stepdaughters, Donna Rondeau, Silver Springs, FL; Judy Sargent and her husband, Leonard, Weathersfield, VT; Diane Smith and her husband, Buddy, Corinth, VT; two sons, Richard Titorenko, Bath, NH; and Walter Young, Jr., Williamstown, VT; a daughter, Joanne Merrow and her husband, Donald, Danby, VT; 31 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.

 

Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery.
